O HARLIE

Work

I was about to start cutting when I realised… I LEFT MY (only) PAIR OF SCISSORS AT THE CENTRE YESTERDAY MORNING! Ho hum. What a way to start my first day of working from home, eh? So I went downstairs to the friendly neighbourhood uncle stationery shop (every estate needs one), and bought more than planned. Scissors aside I got myself a plastic long ruler (because the one I have at home is metal and rusty {and also cos I know I have it somewhere but I just can’t fathom where right now}), a fancy sharpener, and a felt-tip 0.8 black pen I use for drawing. Afterwhich I ordered teh peng at the coffeeshop, to da bao back home and drink slowly.

Cut and paste, cut and paste, scratch head scratch head, cut and paste. I look up at the clock and it was two! I wonder how I worked through my grumbling tummy. I stopped work and ate some pasta my mum prepared in the morning, while watching TV (Jon and Kate Plus 8, awesome show).

Then I decided to make a phonecall (it was on the list of things I had to do; I wrote this list myself last night). The phonecall should have taken 2 minutes, but WAH it took half-an-hour! Not like it’s a bad thing- I should schedule phonecalls everyday just so I will have a semblance of a social-life-at-work. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

I stopped working at 5.30 cos my eyes were really tired. I went to the room to lie down and at 6 my parents were back home from work. I ate dinner and showed them what I did today.

I am pooped. I think it could be the nature of what I was doing today (cutting, pasting, engineering, focus). I want a backrub.
